Developing this blog has been a rewarding journey, and I'm excited to finally share it!
There are five pages, besides this home page. My material culture analysis of the stereoscope, which utilizes Jules Prown's framework; a contextual analysis, which showcases some of my research; my immediate analysis, as well as a digital analysis, of a related text on drawing in Massachusetts schools; my unofficial contribution to the GoogleDoodle archive; and an appendix, which features several transcripts.
The closest thing this blog has to a table of contents can be found to the right of this post. To travel to a page, click on the text. |
These pages are roughly in the order in which I wrote them, and I think following them in that order will give better insight into my own experience with the stereoscope. However, they're not entirely linear, and each page links to other, relevant pages.
Thanks for reading, and leave comments with any questions you might have!
